You pat yourself down, and don’t find any scars, or wounds at all on your body, though when you touch your chest where you remember the blade piercing you you wince instinctively. Though you feel exhausted and aching, you can find no trace of real damage to your body.

There is something different though.

The collar, which you found on your neck when you woke up here– wherever here is– now has a large padlock attached to it. You cradle it in your hand, and it feels heavy.
