You push the door open, and as you step into the hall, you’re once again struck by the sight of that dark viscus substance.Is it some kind of oil spill? You can feel it sticky on the bottom of your shoes.

Just like the map said, there’s a stairway at the end of the hall, and a door, presumably the break room, on your right. To the left, in shadow, the walls are lined with barred windows.
